There is no standard definition of E-Learning. E-Learning in general is dealing with all forms of learning in combination with electronic media needed for presentation and distribution of learning materials and/or to support the communication amoung learners and between learners and the teacher/moderator/facilitator/lecturer.
Basically there are four different types of E-Learning: Computer-Based Training (CBT), Web-Based-Training (WBT), Online Seminars, and Virtual Classroom.

 In this portal we want to emphasize the growing importance of various forms E-learning especially in TVET in presenting good examples and we want to offer a platform for information exchange amoung professionals in the field.
